“Empowering people and appreciating each other are important. Human touch is critical and that can’t be replaced,” said Deepa Sarojammal, CEO, Reflections, at the inaugural session of the Fireside Chat on ‘Decoding Great Workplaces’ in Thiruvananthapuram on March 5, 2025, organized by Great Place to Work® Institute (India), bringing together leaders from across Kerala to foster the development of exceptional workplace cultures.

In the session, Deepa, along with Hari Prasad Krishna Pillai, VP & Managing Director, H&R Block India, discussed ‘What Great Workplaces Do Differently,’ highlighting the importance of authentic leadership, forging genuine connections with employees, seizing meaningful engagement opportunities, empowering teams to innovate fearlessly, building trust through transparency, and embracing a culture where ‘fail fast’ translates to rapid learning. 

Deepa elaborated on how Reflections drives success through exceptional employee experience, by fostering a culture of genuine appreciation, a clear Career Development Framework, rewards and recognitions, championing internal promotions, constant one-to-connects across all levels, and initiatives like an AI-enabled engagement bot and a vibrant weekly newsletter.
