The session was organized as part of the Women Advancing Technology Together (WATT) initiative in the context of International Women’s Day, bringing together technology professionals to explore the evolving role of AI in enterprises.During the session, Deepa shared insights on enterprise AI adoption and the importance of measuring ROI from AI initiatives, emphasizing that organizations must move beyond experimentation to building structured, value-driven AI programs. She highlighted the need for establishing clear AI policies and governance frameworks to ensure responsible and scalable adoption across the enterprise.Deepa also discussed risk management in AI systems, drawing attention to critical challenges such as bias and data privacy, and the importance of proactively identifying and addressing these risks as AI becomes embedded in business processes.Emphasizing the human side of technology, she spoke about the role of empathy and ethics in developing responsible AI solutions, noting that sustainable business value can only be achieved when innovation is balanced with accountability and trust.

Deepa Sarojammal, Chairperson, Reflections Entities, spoke on the importance of empathy-driven leadership in the AI era, at the special panel discussion titled ‘She Leads Digital, ’organized by the Digital University Kerala on February 20 on its 5th anniversary, celebrating women leaders in technology and innovation.Deepa spoke on the importance of empathy-driven leadership in the AI era and how empathy has always been at the center of software development, pointing out how design thinking has always been employed to make user experience easy and seamless. She elaborated on how AI is adding a few more layers of empathy and making enterprises and developers consider aspects like checking whether there is a sub-section of humans who would be negatively impacted by a solution and if it is so, how to correct it.Noting that high risks lead to high rewards, she said there is also the need to understand whether there is any bias resulting from the AI solution that we come up with, the risks of the solution generating wrong outcomes, and who gets affected by it. &nbsp;The discussion featured leading women from the digital and technology sectors, who shared insights on leadership, innovation, and navigating the evolving digital landscape.

Jithin was part of the panel discussion on the topic ‘Moving from Transactional to Transformational HR in ELEVATE26, the HR Conclave held on the theme ‘Reimagining Future of Work’ on Febraury 21 in Kochi on the theme ‘Reimagining Future of Work.’ Speaking on ‘The Reinvention of HR - From Process Owner to Enterprise Partner,’ he drew parallels to the emerging ‘SaaSpocalypse’ following innovations from Anthropic and rising AI adoption trends reported by SHRM and highlighted how HR must move beyond transactional processes toward intentional, business-aligned transformation. Jithin emphasized that HR’s future will not be defined by the policies it writes, but by the business problems it solves and the measurable impact it creates.

AI provides a non-judgmental sandbox where a student&nbsp; can iterate, fail, and ask,’ said Sajikumar Koyitti, CEO. He was speaking at the 9th edition of International Conclave on Skills, Engineering, and Technology (ICSET 2026), organized by the ICT Academy of Kerala, on the theme ‘Reimagining Skills for a Resilient, Sustainable Future,’ on January 13 in Kochi. In the panel discussion on the topic ‘Campus to Career: Scalable Models for AI and Sustainability-led Skills,’ Saji highlighted the transformation that AI has brought in student experience by breaking the ‘One-Size-Fits-All’ factory model and acting as an adaptive learning engine.&nbsp;Emphasizing the democratization of the ‘expert’ via knowledge graphs, Saji also pointed out that AI removes the social barrier to learning. AI is a bicycle for the mind, but the learner still has to pedal. Graduates should not use AI to ‘bypass’ the struggle of learning, but to deepen their understanding,’ he said, also cautioning about AI making it too easy when students just outsource their thinking without learning.&nbsp;
